Alternative-rock band Wednesday performed a sold-out show in Richmond, Virginia, on their “Rat Saw God” tour. The Broadberry was packed with fans excited to see the rising band. The tour was in support of their 5th full-length album, Rat Saw God, which was released in April 2023 on Dead Oceans.
The band started out the show with a cover of “Ghost of a Dog” by Edie Brickell & New Bohemians, which is also featured on their 2021 album, Twin Plagues. Without much talking between songs, Wednesday performed nearly their entire new album, along with older favorites and even treated the crowd to a new, unreleased song.
Wednesday has been steadily growing for years now, and it’s clear that they aren’t slowing down anytime soon. With 2024 already full of international performances and many festivals, be sure to keep an eye on Wednesday and catch a show in your city.
