We Came As Romans, an iconic melodic metal band, celebrated the release of their 6th studio album, Darkbloom, on their U.S. tour. One of the best concert venues in Orlando, Florida, the House of Blues in Disney Springs, was packed with excited fans ready to see their favorite band.
Darkbloom was a long time coming – the first single being the title track released in July of 2021. A few months later in September of 2021, “Black Hole” was released featuring Caleb Shomo from Beartooth, followed up shortly after with “Daggers” featuring rapper Zero 9:36. WCAR built up the hype for a while longer until the album was officially released a year later. The band has been releasing music since 2008 and have since solidified their place in the genre.
The performers wasted no time building the energy for their set, starting off with three new songs from Darkbloom. Following up was three songs from their 2017 album, Cold Like War, and three songs from their 2013 album, Tracing Back Roots. The band even engaged with the crowd by letting them have their say in what song they wanted to hear next – ultimately, “Fade Away” was the winner. Ending the show with more songs from Darkbloom, the crowd was able to leave satisfied with tonight’s show and eager to see the band again.
