The Plot In You: Watch The Divide

The Plot In You

The Beacham (Orlando, FL)
04/21/23

The Plot In You is nearly halfway through their North American run on their “Watch the Divide” tour, and there is no sign the band will be slowing down anytime soon. With support from three international bands – Banks Arcade, Thornhill, and Holding Absence – the group is going above and beyond to create a supportive and uplifting community around the metalcore scene. Making a stop in Orlando, Florida on April 21st at The Beacham, The Plot In You drew a massive crowd to the theater for a Friday night show.

Their set kicked off with a bang leading right into the heavy, hard-hitting track, “Divide.” The riff-driven piece had the crowd moving, restless on their feet, opening mosh pits at every chance they found. Only a short 4 songs in and the band’s lead, Landon Tewers, was urging audience members to crowd surf up to the edge of the stage encouraging a swarm of crowd surfers larger than I had seen at any rock show before. Fans did not hesitate to shout the lyrics of every song back to the band, energy building rapidly throughout the course of the entire set.

Ending the night strong, the group closed with the longtime favorite, “FEEL NOTHING.” Upon the arrival of the first major breakdown, a mosh pit opened spanning the entire length of the floor. Everyone rushed together to enjoy the final song of the night with as much energy as they had left in them. Even as the Watch the Divide Tour comes to a close, it’s clear The Plot In You is not backing down from the spotlight anytime soon.
