Surf Curse brought their global headlining tour to Philadelphia, PA at the iconic Union Transfer venue. The band's journey started in 2013, but had a huge resurgence on social media in 2020, introducing their music to more and more fans around the world and bringing them to the next level. Their platinum single, “Freaks,” took over TikTok and now has over 644 million streams on Spotify alone! It didn’t stop there, though! 2022 consisted of unforgettable sets at festivals like Coachella, Primavera Sound, Gov Ball, and more - and finally, the release of their 4th full length album, Magic Hour. The band is most often described as surf rock, appropriately so, and Magic Hour is, at its core, no different. Even while evolving, Surf Curse remains tight to their sound, remaining angsty lyrically, even when the music doesn’t suggest so.
Make sure Surf Curse is on your list of bands to see. They have a few tour dates left in 2022 and already a few festivals booked in 2023. Keep a close eye on this band!
