Cheapsteaks (Dallas, TX)
09/14/23
Hardcore-punk band Scowl brought their North American headlining tour to Dallas, Texas to local hotspot Cheapsteaks. The band’s newest E.P., Psychic Dance Routine, was released in early April on Flatspot Records. Scowl is one of the fastest rising bands in the scene right now, and they’re not slowing down anytime soon.
The tour has featured local bands on nearly every show, and tonight was no different. Gagging Order, a hardcore band from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, set the tone for the show with a powerful performance. Militarie Gun, a band completely taking over the alternative-hardcore music scene, directly supported Scowl and performed songs from their recent full-length album, Life Under The Gun.
Scowl took the stage and the crowd didn’t stop moving throughout the entire set. Vocalist Kat Moss commanded the stage like no other while singing through their entire Psychic Dance Routine E.P., along with fan favorites like “Bloodhound” and “Fuck Around.” Scowl’s headlining tour is still well underway, with a month left of shows across North America. Be sure to go to a date near you and don’t miss out on this iconic tour.
