Grog Shop (Cleveland Heights, OH)
04/16/23
There’s not many times that the mention of Michigan is met with rounds of applause in Ohio, but that all changed with the sold out Michigander show at the Grog Shop in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Jason Singer, the musician behind the name Michigander, told the crowd that the night prior was the band’s biggest show to date, and that they were thrilled to be back to the intimate Grog Shop venue. His “It Will Never Be The Same” tour is in support of Michigander’s newest E.P., released just two weeks prior to the show, entitled It Will Never Be The Same.
Kicking off the show with a fan favorite from the newest E.P., “Stay Out Of It,” was just the start of the crowd singing and jumping along all night- to the point that you could feel the floor bouncing. The show drew an older crowd than the typical teenage shows that normally take place at Grog, yet the crowd was as lively as ever. Michigander was a youthful performance with a friendly atmosphere.
