Grammy-winner and California-based singer-songwriter Madison Cunningham appeared at Calvin University for a nearly sold-out show put on by their Student Activities Board. With Storefront Church as the opener, the show was filled with breathtaking energy and awe.
By the third song, Cunningham had encouraged the entire crowd to get up, dance, and truly feel the music she was playing. It happened slowly and then before you knew it, every audience member – old, young and in-between – were bobbing their heads to Cunningham’s tunes. She played tracks from her latest album, Revealer, including “Hospital” and “All I’ve Ever Known,” finishing with an encore of “Something to Believe In” and “Song In My Head.”
Fans were buzzing with spirit as they filed out of the university’s theater. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing Cunningham in Michigan again soon for another headlining show!
