Macklemore: BEN

The ground was quite literally shaking at Arizona Financial Theatre this past Tuesday – an effect only a Macklemore concert can have on a crowd.

The “BEN” tour made its second to last stop in Phoenix and had no shortage on energy, dancing, and incomparable hits. The tour was in support of his most recent studio album, BEN, released at the beginning of March of this year. The whole set took me back to my prime teenage years – singing along to “Thrift Shop,” “White Walls,” “Glorious,” “Good Old Days,” and other classics. Macklemore’s feel-good hip-hop discography and iconic collabs with artists like Kesha, Lil Yachty, and Collett set him apart in a saturated industry of talented rappers.

Now that the BEN Tour is over, we can’t wait to see what Macklemore does next!
