Margaret T. Hance Park (Phoenix, AZ)
3/03/23 - 03/04/23
Phoenix, Arizona had its annual McDowell Mountain Music Festival, A.K.A. M3F, this past weekend at Margaret T. Hance Park. M3F began in 2004 and has strived to create change within their community since the beginning. The lineup always features a little taste from every genre, and this year featured headliners Maggie Rogers and Jamie xx, along with some of the biggest names in the beloved indie-pop category, including COIN, Del Water Gap, and Peach Pit!
M3F is completely non-profit and donates all of their profits to charity. Their business keeps three C’s in mind at all times – community, culture, and charity. This two-day festival is really for no hidden reason, simply to cultivate a community surrounded by music. Just when you think supporting a great cause and getting to see your favorite musicians live couldn’t be better, you finally get to the early spring, surrounded-by-palm-trees, sunny oasis to actually experience it.
With three large stages and many food and shopping vendors, there is no dull moment this weekend at M3F! Watching the sunset go down as Del Water Gap transitions into COIN into Quinn XCII, a beautiful and successful M3F weekend comes to a close. Be sure you don’t miss out on the festival next year!
