Joywave and iDKHOW brought their iconic co-headline tour to The National in Richmond, Virginia for a grand finale. Just when you thought the Welcome to Hellvetica Tour couldn’t sound any better, the unstoppable duo set out to prove you wrong the moment the show started. The National has never seen a lineup that made this much sense.
With Joywave preforming new songs like "After Coffee" and "Every Window Is A Mirror", along side their classic hits like "Dangerous," the crowd was engaged from the beginning to end - it was like nothing I had ever seen before. After they closed out their set with "Destruction," iDKHOW brought the crowd right back in. Ending the show by bringing Daniel, the lead singer of Joywave, back on stage to perform a rendition of "Nobody Likes The Opening Band", gave the crowd a peaceful, wholesome ending to a high-energy show.
