Jordy Searcy: Daylight, Part Two

Jordy Searcy

The Underground (Charlotte, NC)
03/20/23

Jordy Searcy, a folk artist from Alabama, made his first stop headlining on the Daylight: Part 2 Tour in Charlotte, North Carolina. Having recently toured with pop artist Ben Rector, Jordy brought quite the loyal crowd to his headlining tour in support of his most recent full-length album, Daylight.

Performing songs from Daylight like “Molly,” and older songs like “Explaining Jesus” from 2018 album Dark in the City and “Why Can’t We Be Friends?” from 2020 album Love? Songs, Jordy’s soft guitar tones and vocals echoed through The Underground bringing an incredible vibe. Searcy brought along some of his closest friends to play in his band, who also happened to be the openers for the show, William Hinson and Phillip Vo.

Towards the end of the show, Jordy and the band moved into the middle of the crowd for a short 3-song, intimate moment with fans. You could tell in that moment just how much love and appreciation he has for his fans. That love became even more evident after the show when Jordy took the time to meet every fan that stayed in the venue after the show, just to snag a moment or photo with him.

Catch Jordy Searcy and friends on the rest of their spring tour through mid-May, or opening for Ben Rector throughout April and May 2023.
