Supporting Maddie Zahm on her headlining tour was singer, songwriter, and producer corook. corook started off their set with their recent single, “i’m not doing well.” Several of their songs involved audience participation, which immediately got everyone nodding their head to the beat and singing. As they continued on, they made the audience laugh with their relatable jokes in between songs and dorky personality – one song even included a kazoo solo! corook closed out their set with their adult lullaby, “it’s ok!” The audience continued to sing the repetitive, catchy line, “Hey, hey it’s okay, everybody feels kinda weird some days,” as the artist made their way off stage.
