The Anthem (Washington, DC)

Pop band Bleachers brought their “From the Studio to the Stage” tour to Washington, D.C. for a sold-out show at The Anthem. Frontman Jack Antonoff is kept busy year-round producing records for artists like Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter, yet still finds time to bring his all to venues around the world to perform his own music. The “From the Studio to the Stage” tour is in support of Bleachers’ 4th full-length album, Bleachers. Their self-titled album release marks one decade of the band, and the tour celebrates all they’ve created over the last 10 years. The stage floor was transformed into a retro checkerboard pattern, with band members scattered on risers and staircases. The show was eccentric from beginning to end, Jack hardly staying still for more than a minute at a time, jumping from one side of the stage to the next. No matter what Bleachers’ works on, they perfect it – from the studio, to the stage. Be sure to keep an eye out for what Bleachers does next!
