The Roxy Theatre (West Hollywood, CA)

Coming straight from Coachella Weekend 1, Stella Rose Bennett, known professionally as BENEE, took to The Roxy Theatre stage in West Hollywood, CA to perform for a room of adoring fans. The crowd was filled with fans dressed in colorful outfits and sporting unique makeup looks with sections of their hair dyed different colors, emulating the singer’s latest style. The 500-capacity room quickly filled with both fans and label executives as it got closer to showtime.
Starting off the night was Tiffany Day, an artist with close to 1 million subscribers on her YouTube channel. Her high energy and electrifying performance got the crowd pumped up for the night to come. The second support act was SUPERFAN, who wowed the crowd by simply sitting and playing songs with only the company of their acoustic guitar.
As soon as BENEE came out, she completely commanded the stage. She performed for the audience as a whole, giving each side equal attention and personally interacting with as many fans as possible. Her setlist included songs throughout her entire discography, such as “Kool,” “Find an Island,” and “Soaked.” It became immediately apparent that her live, raw vocals and unique tones were even better than those on her previously released music. With each note change and rasp in her voice, it was easy to sense her emotional connection to her music. BENEE also played a few unreleased songs that she debuted at Coachella and was noticeably impressed when a fan in the front row had already memorized all the words to her new song, “Sports Mode.” Her newest single, “Green Honda,” had everyone jumping up and down to the beat of the music. BENEE also played her viral TikTok hits, “SUPALONELY” and “Glitter,” of course.
As a fan of genuine artists with unique tones, I am planning on following BENEE through the rest of her musical journey and recommend for you to do the same!
