The New York-based alternative-rock band, Arcy Drive, packed out the Vinyl in downtown Atlanta, GA on a Sunday night. They brought the “Stattic” tour around the U.S. to perform high energy shows in major cities, the majority of the dates being sold out, and the remainder being nearly there. Arcy Drive brands themselves on their “attic rock” genre, bringing their DIY roots along with them on this road to success.
Vocalist and guitarist Nick Mateyunas, drummer Brooke Tuozzo, guitarist Austin Jones, and bassist Patrick Helrigel make up the four-piece and have garnered over 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify – and they have yet to even release their debut album. It’s fair to say that Arcy Drive fans mean business! The band performed “River,” “Orange,” and fan favorite “Roll My Stone,” and everyone in the crowd sang along with them. Even over an hour after the show ended, fans hung around the venue for the chance to spend a few minutes meeting the band members. Talking with bassist Patrick, he tells us, “This has literally never happened to us before.” While the band may be newer to the scene, their fanbase would make you think otherwise.
